Lumpini Cop shoots Frenchperson to DEATH after Brawl

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Crazy world.
Those poor French yellow vest protestors throwing Molotov cocktails at police and destroying private property just can't catch a break.

We don't listen the same media. What's happening there it's terrible. The police just shoot the people where it's supposed to be the human right's country. I mean, actually worse than SE Asia.
It’s hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it’s damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.

Not saying it's a good thing either, but the police are using flashballs, which are supposed to be non-lethal.
In traditional demonstrations in France, the demonstrators throw rocks, and sometimes molotov cocktails, and burn cars and smash shop windows - the CRS (riot police) fire flashballs and beat up the demonstrators with truncheons.
As I said, I'm not saying that's great, but it is incorrect to say that police " just shoot the people". I'm not an advocate for the French police, but demonstrations in France have always been tough on both sides, and what you are saying is misinformation.
That said, flashballs are very dangerous when shooting at the head and I've heard of a guy losing an eye during the student demonstrations a few years ago.
