One early morning I think was Saturday went to Chinatown market's food centre for breakfast

One of my must do must eat item while I am in Singapore is traditional Hainanese curry rice and my favourite is at Beo Crescent

One day we took a walk to Suntec City mall and ventured into the food court
Many choices but decided to have Yong Tau Foo from this stall
Was pretty crowded as it was a Sunday

As we had only 3 nights in Singapore our first dinner was at Holy Crab located in Cathay's Kempinski Hotel
Started with Yusheng
After tossing
Melon with abalone
Goby with green sauce
Garlic lobster
Sesame chicken
All the above with lots of champagne as in 4 bottles

Went to Raffles City to Putien Restaurant the second night

Signature dish is meesua noodle - soup was so so good
Poon Choi which included - abalone, scallops, shiitake mushrooms, fish maws, big prawns, chicken, pork belly, yam, fish balls etc

Dinner on Sunday was planned at Tiong Bahru's Ting Heng Seafood Restaurant
Upon arrival was met with a surprise. As Sunday was the 16th day of the first month of the new year it is also the birthday of the monkey god as Taoists believe. Directly opposite the restaurant is the monkey god temple. On arrival there was a procession, really interesting, not seen this for decades so this was the scene there

Finally the last meal before catching the flight in the afternoon was Singapore chicken rice. We went to the Stirling Road Market and at a Singapore chicken rice stall known as Sin Kee
