The good news:

The Queens backpacker who fractured her spine falling off a 150-foot cliff during a sex attack in Thailand is walking again with special equipment, her mom has confirmed.

Ruangwong’s original sentence of ten years was automatically cut in half upon his guilty plea.
It would be great if everyone could boycott this country and its products. I'm sure it won't be long before another sickening rape or murder occurs.

The victim's family is unhappy with the 5 year sentence handed down to her attacker. The woman is in need of further medical attention and a Go Fund Me page has been set up for donations toward the costs.

Ms Gavios still has no feeling in her feet, ankles and backside and is learning to walk again. Her parents have been raising money for her treatment and now need up to $200,000 (about £165,000) to help her walk again.
