Hau lamphonc? Train station in bangkok

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

I apologize;;;
confused it with Trat.

I guess you realize that Songkran, Thai New Year, will be celebrated for about a week in the middle of April. You should be prepared to be gently sprinkled with water as seen in this picture.

I may be going to hell in a bucket,
but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Yes, I didn't realise until after I booked the tickets, so not really looking forward to songkran festival. It's bloody well not a little sprinkle, you are bom barded for days. Tickets from perth to bangkok return $590,so could not lose with that price, especially with school holidays and Easter in April. So plastic rain coats will be packed. We will sleeper from chang mai to bangkok, then bangkok to trang, there is something so good about train travel. 😛🚉
