A 46-year-old German named Andre Schmitt got arrested for selling the "Death Stamp" drug, AKA paper drunk, magic paper, and LSD, outside a convenience store on Koh Phangan.

He had 267 death stamps and some marijauna. He was selling the death stamps to full moon party goers for 250 baht per death stamp.

The Thais report that death stamp or LSD is "a hallucinogenic drug that has the most emotional and psychlogical effects. [It has] affects on the central nervous system, such as cheerful mood, having fun, changing emotions quickly, laughing, crying, and may cause severe fear, such as fear of insanity, fear of death, confusion, anxiety, and loss of control".


The German was also overstaying his visa.
