Farangs have to pay 10 times more in all Natioanl Parks

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Sure they do. They just don't want the poorest ones. What country does?

Do locals pay the same as foreigners to see Ankor Wat?

Paid $5 each for entrance to Kirirom NP last month - it's free or near enough for nationals. Our Khmer hosts were livid on our behalf but they seemed to cope.

Thailand is NOT the only country that charges tourist more to visit attractions.

Angkor Wat tourist $20/day

Cambodians FREE
---------------
Bagan Tourist $10

Burmese FREE
-----------------------
Taj Mahal Tourist 750 INR ( apx $17 )

Indians; INR 50 for Indians, Nepalese and Bhutanese (apx $2.20)

Personally nothing against dual pricing BUT would like to see a price for expats living in said countries that can prove it
long term visa, drivers license etc)
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I thought it already was 10X. We went to a waterfall in Koh Chang 6 months ago and it was 20/200. Maybe it was a Provincial park.
