Re: Death of the full moon party
I liked warehouse parties and festivals a lot when I was young and foolish in the 80s and 90s. All the old Hippy Convoy and the newer rave crew came together and there were great times. However these Full Moon parties in Goa and Thailand seemed to attract a really annoying type of didgeridoo and bongo playing moron. Fuck hanging around with those people, mostly a bunch of cunts.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Same year I was there, maybe I’m in the video.
Me and me mate Kieth stayed for about five minutes and went elsewhere. Utter morons.
Reminds me of Kampot.
Don’t listen to Chinese whispers.

Well I may have fit the bill for you in those years, annoying type of didgeridoo and bongo playing moron at Glastonbury festival a few times, just enjoying like you do, African drumming lessons came as a treat from a female teacher to join her, has I took her to the lakes, teaching her for her first winter climbing.John Bingham wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 12:39 am I liked warehouse parties and festivals a lot when I was young and foolish in the 80s and 90s. But look at this I stumbled across the other night, in the covid19, distancing?
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Re: Death of the full moon party
I must admit that I was lucky enough to have some of my best moments in life at some of the parties on Koh Phangan around 2000. But not on the full moon day. There were many small parties (Backyard, Outback Bar and many other venues) before and after the full moon which were way better than the mass edition. Bigger is not always better as you can see in this case.
work is for people who cant find truffles

I don't get the grief that 93 video's getting. Unlike the other videos posted, I think it looks cool. That 2020 thing looks like hell on earth, and the 1970s Goa one doesn't look much better. The Thai one though everyone's having a great time, not too many people, what's the problem ?
