Death Island- Koh Tao

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

I was shocked to read a young British girl was so drunk she couldn’t even make it back to her hotel room and passed out sleeping in the street. Apparently a Thai guy was able to cut off her shorts, rape her and she couldn’t even recall any of it. Western standards of behaviour and personal responsibility seems to be at an all time low.
nothing to do with culture

There was a tourist death on Koh Tao in March 2019 that has not received any publicity in Thailand yet, and possibly never will.

My information comes from tweets his father, Sanjai (and another person) posted and from an email and documents the Sanjai sent to me.

The young tourist’s name was SAMYAK CHOUDHARY from India. On 18 March 2019 he was snorkelling (apparently wearing a life jacket) when he drowned and became brain dead. He was transferred to Koh Samui but pronounced dead on 24 March 2019.

More details in next post....

Re: Drowning death of Samyak CHOUDHARY

I shall attach some screenshots of the email that the young man’s father sent me yesterday. I have omitted a few sentences in which the relevant dive shop is mentioned but I can say that Sanjai asked me to otherwise publicise the details within in his email which I am doing here and on Twitter.

I see that Samyak would have turned 23 on Saturday 4 May 2019.

Drowning death of Samyak CHOUDHARY..

I shall attach an image of the Thai police report into the death, which Sanjai Jain sent to me yesterday.

I shall also post a link to a new YouTube music video published yesterday “Death Island of the Setting Sun” performed by Colombes Ran of Madagascar:

Been there, it's totally fine imo... apart from the fire boys who seem a bit rapey/aggressive

Interesting observation about the “fire boys” of Koh Tao. No one ever seems to have explained the BLACK stains on Hannah Witheridge’s face and upper body which are conspicuously different to the RED stains presumably caused by blood. The residue or soot from a fire dancer’s equipment will leave black stains. How many fire 🔥 dancers are employed by the infamous AC Bar where Hannah and David were drinking?

The UK’s Metropolitan Police have not explained the cause of the black stains.

Yeah, apart from the rapists, murderers & police plus everyone on Koh Tao who turns a blind eye, Death Island is paradise.

How many fire 🔥 dancers were working on Sairee Beach when David Miller & Hannah Witherdige were murdered? How many were employed by the notorious AC Bar that night/morning?

I don’t recall there being black marks on either of the victims and I’ve seen the unpixalated pictures.

David Miller’s body was found in the water and did not seem to have black stains on it.

Hannah certainly had black stains on her upper body and face and even in her teeth that were a conspicuously different colour to the red stains. I won’t post any full gory pictures here though just to prove an obvious point.
