It also features the Californian man, Anthony Cardullo aka "Tony Lotus" of the famous LOTUS BAR on Sairee Beach, Koh Tao. On each anniversary of Tony's death, the LOTUS BAR declares the day as TONY DAY.

There is some additional information about the near fatal attack by Santi Khokpool upon a 28-year-old British tourist on Saturday, 15 August 2020 in the Fishbowl Beach Bar, which is part of Ban's Diving Resort.

Santi was hired by Mr Ban's 29 yo widow, Rumluek as protection after Mr Ban ( Mr Virat Asavachin) was gunned down in broad daylight in about February 2002. Rumluek and her sister Wannaluk had a dilemma in hiring muscle to protect their business. Unfortunately, Santi proved to be extremely dangerous to the customer in the Fishbowl Beach Bar. Santi and the sisters grew up together on another lawless island, Koh Phangan. Santi is older than the two sisters. Ban's advises that they no longer employ Santi.

This follows Khokpool’s near fatal attack upon a 28 yo Scottish tourist within the busy Fishbowl Beach Bar on Sairee Beach, Koh Tao, Thailand.
Santi slashed the left side of the guy’s neck open with a broken beer bottle in a completely unprovoked attack. Immediately prior to the glassing, Santi was assaulting a female tourist.
Santi was fired by Ban’s Diving Resort and has now been expelled by PADI BUT apparently his mates within the highly corrupt Royal Thai Police did not charge him with any offence! Welcome to Koh Tao - Thailand’s Death Island.

Californian man, Anthony Cardullo aka "Tony Lotus" ran the highly successful and lucrative Lotus Bar on Sairee Beach, Koh Tao, Thailand. However his friends say he was threatened by the local mafia before being found dead with vast sums of money missing. The corrupt Thai police dismissed his death as occurring in his sleep or possibly due to a heart attack. His lucrative business was apparently simply taken over by Thai "business partners."
