Dead body found on NZ-registered yacht, Phuket.

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

A local hotel worker passing the yacht – the Waitane II, sailing under a New Zealand flag – on a dinghy reported the death to police at about 10:30am, said Maj Thada Sodarat of the Chalong Police.

“He said that he boarded and inspected the yacht after noticing a stench emanating from the vessel, and that’s when he found the body and immediately called the police,” Capt Sodarat said.
Police believe the man had died about 10 days before his body was discovered...

* The Phuket News has been informed of the name of the person the credit card was issued to, but is withholding from publishing it until it has been confirmed that the man’s next of kin have been notified of his death.

What? No photos of the dead body, no shots of his passport photo with his name and date of birth for his relatives to come across online ? Maybe some Cambodian journalists could get some training from Phuket News.
