David Miller & Hannah Witheridge murdered on Thailand Island
Re: British man and woman murdered on Thai island
Questions
While he was moving around the island (when allegedly death-threatened by some mafia), he could have used the time to dispose of clothes/things, which would have incriminated him.
The girl-witness, who allegedly said, she removed blood from his body, might have washed his clothes?
About the condom found... victim DNA found OUTside, NOBODYS DNA inside:
- someone used two condoms?
- unknown from what body part the victim DNA is (sorry)
- quite a shocking thought. Sorry.
at the very latest, as soon as SMc stated at sky news/facebook, he was supposed to meet DM that night, but overslept, he should have been asked for his clothes/dna and what not.
Every police force would have focussed on him. really every.
this double murder on that mini-island will make history as one of the biggest police-blunders in the universe.

Re: British man and woman murdered on Thai island
some interesting thoughts from thaivisa:
- the DNA of the AC bars owner matched 70% (i think, chutney said this)
(could mean a close relative of him was involved? his bkk-son was tested and cleared)
- red substance was seen on the guitar of sean mcanna, apparently when he entered the boat
new facebook:

the first quoted posting text ("ruthie B") is very good. the 2nd post she uploads the pic of the motorbike found (user needed to view).
TV - page 13 (1st and 2nd posting): http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/763 ... ya/page-13
oh man, i hope its forgiven, but i must cite from her informative text (i have missed some days of news):

It has been reported that a spa worker, Jok, helped clean blood from Seans face and body.
We know from Andy Lines reporting, that Seans guitar was covered in blood.
In photos of Sean having an interview as he left the island, you can see a deep injury to his right forearm, light scratches to his left wrist, and what appears to be another injury concealed under his many bracelets.
On the koh Tao Community Board, a woman posted an image of a motor bike found 'deep in the thick north Sairee jungle'. She said is was clean, and looked very odd, just abandoned in the thick

“@RichardBarrow: http://englishnews.thaipbs.or.th/key-wi ... -tourists/ … #Thailand” Police have again confirmed this is NOT Sean McAnna. He is cleared.

Correction. Police are firming forensic evidence against 3 suspects on Koh Tao. We will see. They expect results in next 48 hours.
Re: British man and woman murdered on Thai island
perhaps indeed a major breakthrough ahead, as two important businessmen arrived on the island and spoke to police, and the tourism minister is scheduled for a visit as well...
on TV-forum someone spelled it out - it looked as the rape happened after death.
if you have seen the crime scene pic...
or - alternatively, the position was "arranged", after death/impact...

Re: British man and woman murdered on Thai island
I thought the DNA was said to be from an Asian man or men.

FURIOUS locals have mocked a bungled police probe into the murders of two Brits in Thailand by uploading a series of tasteless ladyboy snaps online.
By Ed Riley / Published 27th September 2014
BAD TASTE: Pictures posted online include mocking the tool used to kill the two Brits, a garden hoe [SOCIALMEDIA]
Villagers have posted a photo on Facebook showing fellow Brit Sean McAnna - who fears he is being framed for the killings - dressed in drag.
Another picture shows a local man on the Thai paradise of Koh Tao taunting cops by holding up a hoe - the weapon used to slaughter backpackers Hannah Witheridge, 23, and David Miller, 24.
It is a sign residents are trying to discredit the botched investigation into the killings in a sign of mounting anger over the way their home is being portrayed.
The user who uploaded the ladyboy snap writes under the photograph: "Are you good or evil and why are you dragging our island down?"
DRAGGING COUNTRY DOWN: Sean McAnna in drag has been ruled out as a suspect [SOCIALMEDIA]
“Why are you dragging our island down?”
Thai villagers angry at how Koh Tao is represented
The embarrassing picture was taken on the Koh Tao Pub Crawl where men are invited to dress as a woman for the Queen's Cabaret Lady Boy show.
Sean, of Shotts, Lanarkshire, has fled the island after telling pals he thought mobsters were trying to frame him for the crime.
BEACH MURDERS: Local Thai villagers have been mocking the police investigation into the Brit beach murders [SOCIALMEDIA]
He told how he was approached by two men at the nightclub where Hannah, from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, and David, from Jersey, had been before they were beaten to death on a beach.
Terrified Sean, who has been ruled out as a suspect by the police, said: "They just said to me: 'It was you who killed them. You've got two people's deaths on your hands.
"'You're going to hang yourself tonight and we are going to watch you hang. You will die tonight.' So I just ran."
Police are yet to make any arrests after the backpackers' deaths on September 15.
Their investigation descended into further farce as Thailand's top police officer blamed social media for his force's failure.
Police General Somyot Poompanmoung said online attention to the case had "obstructed the investigation and confused investigators".
Re: British man and woman murdered on Thai island
sounds, as if results are expected soon ?
EXCERPT http://thainews.prd.go.th/centerweb/new ... 9280010006Grand travel events planned for Ko Tao after murder case solved
BANGKOK, 28 September 2014 (NNT)
Minister of Tourism and Sports Kobkarn Wattanawarangkun has traveled to Ko Tao island in Surat Thani province to follow up on the progress of the murder of two British tourists. The minister said she would arrange activities to boost confidence among tourists after the case was closed.
After arriving in the island, the minister met with local officials, tourism entrepreneurs and tourists to listen to their problems and opinions. The Surat Thani governor told the minister that Ko Tao still lacked government officers to work on the island and there was insufficient water for consumption. The island also faced an electricity problem since it used power from the private sector only.
Re: British man and woman murdered on Thai island
according to chutney on TV-forum.
SMc flew out of bangkok - was posted by his sister at the time.
they were advised to not post anymore (that she posted before already), and it was apparently her, taking down postings and his FB page.
italy has no extradition agreement with thailand, apparently.
user steve fong says, the picture from behind the 7/11 counter shows
- ac owner and
- a POLICEMAN
