Well, he seems to be a mule/carrier/bagman, so there must be a buyer and seller on with either end, i.e. Thailand & Denmark.

Does anyone know how they manage to keep the mules from informing the authorities where the stuff came from?

I suppose they don't know the identity of the receiver though, through use of some method of putting it in a locker in a train station or something as seen in various movies.

Anyway, certainly a dodgy business to get into. Many most go undetected; otherwise people wouldn't risk it.

Hopefully a very long prison sentence in a Thai prison, & publically named & shamed throughout his own country

Growers/manufactures sell to dealers who arrange mules,
a cutout man than delivers product to mules who carry it to xxx country, Usually accompanied on the flight by a person unknown to the mule to observe
Note; there might be and usually are, more than 1 mule on a flight unknown to each other.
On arrival they are told to go to a pre arranged drop hotel where a cutout picks up product
