Be careful taking a taxi in Phuket

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. I thought I had a good childhood and then I read these lucky little kids are getting taken to Hooters. I hope they remember which tits they are supposed to suck on. :Yahoo!:

its just another high priced chicken wing restaurant totally out of place here

Family fun in Patong. Get accosted by a dozen obnoxious Indian Tailors. Give some money to fake 'Hill Tribe' people. Take a (100 baht for 100 meters) tuk tuk to Hooters. Get some wings and burgers. Go over to Bangla to watch the Ladyboys, hookers & drunk punters. Now you've experienced the epitome of Thai culture. Too bad you can't rent a jet ski anymore.

there the only things ( plus the Parasail crew) now on Patong beach and hassle everyone when u walk past them, PLUS they park them in the shade, rather than allow Farangs to sit there

You also forgot the Time share touts that will try an hit ya up , the Burmese selling sunglasses on soi Bangla an at night the Russian hookers trying to get you to go into their clubs.

When will the junta crack down on the jet ski scammers? From what I see in the news, those scams are still going strong.

..and yes. The Indian tailors are a pain in the ass.

I'm obviously wrong, I thought they cleaned that up. I know Patong does not = Phuket, but where is Hooters ?

patong, next to Rock hard Cafe, ( another useless Patong restaurant) BUT dam good ribs :-)
