Buddha’s footprint in Chanthaburi

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

The Buddha’s Footprint on Khao Khitchakut, Chanthaburi Province, February 5 to April 5, 2019
Between Chinese New Year and Magha Puja Day (late January to March) of every year, there is a ceremony to worship the Lord Buddha’s Footprint at Khao Khitchakut National Park in Chanthaburi Province. The ceremony is held every year and usually lasts for a couple of months. This year, it is scheduled to be held between February 5 to April 5.
Slow down little world, you're changing too fast.

Chanthaburi is a gret little town.
Be sure to visit Friday or Saturday as that is when the gem market operates. It is one of the biggest in the world and there are reputable labs there that can tell you exactly what you are seeing prior to purchase if you are inclined to buy.
It is not a tourist town per se so you will see the real Thailand.
