Another farang scammer in Bangkok.(VIDEO)

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

I'm surprised people even stop to listen to him. I gave one of the Indian scammers 100 baht once just because he was able to maintain a good conversation for 30 minutes.

That fucker approached me last week, at the Asok BTS in Sukhumvit.

I was exiting, and as soon as I got on the sidewalk he walked past me, spun around and said, "Hey man! You're from the States, right?"

I'm half smiling, half laughing and say, "Yeah, and I recognize you! You're the Sukhumvit Scammer from StickBoyBangkok's website."

"Naw, not me." He continued talking, but I wasn't listening.

I'm actually laughing by this point and call him a scammer again. He gets a bit upset.

"I'm not a scammer!"

By this time another foreigner is there and her asks, "is he really a scammer?" I think he was going into the currency exchange office right there.

"Yeah, Google Sukhumvit Scammer and you'll see a video about him," I tell him.

By this point he's pretty upset yelling, "I'm not a fucker scammer! I have a police report right here, you see?"

I'm really laughing now! "Get a job, dude."

"I have a fucking job! I'm a professor!"

"Then you don't need to be scamming people."

At this point he's really upset and I start pulling out my phone to snap a picture, and when he sees this he says he's going to take my pic, and then bolts off.

Never saw him again.
"Life is too important to take seriously."

"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh."
