You don’t need an expensive air quality meter when you can just look out of the window. If we cannot see the skyscrapers in Bangkok, then it is a red flag day and everyone should wear a N95 smog mask. The bottom photo is this morning.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Pattaya - Soi Diana/Buakhao isn't much better at 7pm with all the traffic and drain vapour.
Is strenuous indoor exercise also to be avoided?

I hear burning season in Chiang Mai starts in January and the air quality gets really bad. Will be there soon and will see (or smell).

Usually mid feb/early march for at least 2-3 months up north, BUT they are saying it might start late Jan this year as they have said 20213 was the hottest year on record.Big Daikon wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2024 8:06 am I hear burning season in Chiang Mai starts in January and the air quality gets really bad.
