Aaaaargh - 3 times I've typed a new topic post and gone to post and its said I have to be logged in, which I have been. WTF !

^^ I haven't had that happen (yet).

However, I used to be able to stay logged in all day, but now it seems to time-out after maybe an hour. So, need to keep logging in every time I refresh the page. (And 'yes' I have deleted all board cookies, cleared my browser cache and ticked the log me in automatically each visit box).

I think OD has said before to use the login on the top LEFT and not on the top right if you want to stay logged in.

Which one are you using?

This has also happened to me a couple of times recently.
I just figured that it must be a karmic sign that I am posting too much rubbish.

Seriously though, is there a time delay ? Sometimes I leave halfway through writing something, then when I finish the post and submit it, I find I've been logged out and the post is wiped.

Yes, use #3. Then it will give you the option to be automatically logged in every time.

Yep, ticked the automatically log in box.

So, in theory, if I shut down my browser now without logging out. Then restart my laptop, I will automatically log in? Right? (In theory).
