Using 2 Monitors Vs 1 Widescreen Monitor

I've been using 2 standard size monitors side by side for several years now.
I find it very convenient to work with.

I was just wondering if anyone who has worked with two monitors has migrated to a single wide screen monitor (curved or not).
What is your opinion on working with the single wide screen. Same? Different? Recommended? Not recommended? Other?

I'm not a gamer. This is just for general online work.

Opinions please.

I prefer the mental division of tasks with multiscreen setup. But I'm multitasking a lot, if I spent my time mostly within one software maybe the wide screen would work better.

I would go for 2 separate ones if it's for work. If you got two of them you can easily separate each screen into 4. Making a total of 8 different apps open simultaneously.

If you got 1 big screen you can only separate it into 4

You can split a widescreen monitor however you like - 4, 8, 16, 32..

If you're used to having two monitors, a many smart widescreens let you set them up so it's like you've got two screens in one. Your computer will think it's dealing with two separate displays, and you won't notice any difference from using two monitors.

I been using a 40" Sony TV for years that I thought was dying so swapped in my S/Sung 55" curved TV which is too big to be useful so am getting the sweetspot 43" TV 4K instead - did a fair bit of research and I not a gamer.

Download the free Windows PowerToys and use the FancyZones to layout ur windows.

Didn't know that. I thought it would be easier to have 2 separate screens to find the corners of the screen so Windows would automatically divide your apps. Ahh well, at least I learned something today.
