It isn’t happening anymore for me

It seems like an extra security check, takes one more second to see the homepage. I’d recommend leaving it as is with the extra checks, especially since they don’t significantly impact logon time. It’s worth it for the extra security you get.

Not reliably, or consistently. I waited a long time earlier. Whether it’s an effect of the amount of traffic, I’ve no idea. I’m 6hours behind at present. Nothing else is going slow.

The dev increased security because we had a million requests a couple weeks ago within a few hours, and it kept knocking us offline.

I'll turn it off shortly when I get back on my computer.

So no change yet, but I’m no longer getting that security message. That’s odd

OK, settings have been adjusted a bit.

Let us know if anyone is still having the hassle, and sorry for the inconvenience of the increased security.

It's cloudflare. Or probably more about how my computer/iPad interacts.

I hadn't been experiencing this or similar on any other websites until today, when I tried to login to a totally unrelated site, and randomly get the same result- random, inconsistent need to verify that I'm human.

I noticed the favicon issue some time ago but didn't want to seem pedantic by bringing it up. This site is listed with other sites in one of my bookmark tabs and the default favicon here makes my list of bookmarks look ugly. All the other sites have nice graphical images next to them except this one which just has a basic default - kinda takes me back to the early 2000's, the days of the days of Yahoo Geocities era when nobody bothered with favicons.
