Think my phones fucked?

Post by FreeSocrates! »

I went to some Chinese Noodle house to pick up some food for my friends and I tonight.

It started raining. My phone got a tiny bit wet, not soaking, just a bit.

Everything works except for cellular. I put it in a bag of dry rice.

Can you get a sim input or the attena repaired on these things?

I'd imagine it's one of those things.

Sony Experia M - Dual Sim, neither slot works at the moment.

Hmmmm, me also think it's fucked.

Try keeping the battery out a few more days, if possible...

As long as there's still ANY moisture and the battery is connected, damage is being done...

It works! It works! Hallelujah, thank you dried rice!

:D

It wasn't alot of water... at all. My pocket was wet and phone was only exposed for a few minutes.

Now does anyone know the best way to protect against this kind of incident?
