The wife wants a smart phone so she can get internet. Any suggestions on who is the best carrier? I don't know the name of the carrier but she says 055 has cheap internet. Any clue who 055 is and how much they are?

As far as I know there is no mobile phone operator that runs the prefix 055. Hard to tell who is the best carrier....it's changing all the time anyway. Metfone is ok I guess....always when you top up your account you get lots and lots of free kbs. Speed is also ok: prefix: 071, 088 and 097

Don't smart offer LTE?

For my laptop I use a Metphone dongle and it has worked great for years. It comes out to about $10.00 usd for a little over three weeks with my usage.

Yep and if speed is important it's the best choice if you live in the limited PP service area. Having said that Metfone gives me reasonable surfing, etc on my second phone

I guess a helpful fact would be we are in Kampong Chhnang. Not anywhere close to PP.

Actually I much prefer Kampong Chhnang to PP. I have been living there at least half the year each year for many years. It is VERY rustic. Not for everybody. I am usually good for about 3 days in PP at the most before it is time to get away.
