VR Headsets
Not being a tec guy I know nothing about this stuff and it only came to my attention when I got junkmail about VR Porn being the latest big boom in viewing videos. So who has used VR headsets in watching games ,,, or anything else.
I'm just trying to catch up with smartphones and they bring out this new stuff to confuse me.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

It's the future of gaming, entertainment and education too. City Mall and WB arena has VR gaming business: https://www.facebook.com/NYXIA.VR.EXPERIENCE/Duncan wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2019 3:46 pm Not being a tec guy I know nothing about this stuff and it only came to my attention when I got junkmail about VR Porn being the latest big boom in viewing videos. I think it's $4-$5 for 10 minutes of play. Worth of trying some day if you happen to be there.

Some good fun playing around with VR. Only problem with using it here is the headset gets fantastically hot after 20 minutes and your head and VR unit are saturated in sweat
If you enjoy noise pollution and obnoxious driving practices, Phnom Penh is the place for you!

Re: VR Headsets
I had one of those Gear VR headsets for Samsung phones. Absolutely blown away by it for the first few days, then it just sat in the back of a cupboard.
As many people who have dabbled in VR will tell you, the novelty soon wears off. There's just something annoying and cumbersom about having to stick a headset on everytime you want to use it. It's why 3D TV and Movies died. Even though with those you're just talking about a pair of glasses, but it's still seen as an annoyance after a while.
Even the VR industry is shocked at how little take-up there's been.

The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never allow the dumb ones to lead the pack.

Re: VR Headsets
For mainstream gaming that is still the case as there is not so addictive content for it. Or lets say that game developers haven't really find the correct way of using VR. Though there are few very interesting games coming in near future.xandreu wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 6:12 pm I had one of those Gear VR headsets for Samsung phones. But for example some gaming genres its been pretty big hit already now.
Like sim racing:
It helps with sense of speed and seeing where the other cars are.
Same thing with flight simulators:
