Former Digi customers - advice?
Former Digi customers - advice?
So anyone else get booted by Digi to SingMEng only to be told to sign up with Ezecom now? No luck getting through to any of the 3 companies and now have been without internet for almost 2 days. Pretty pissed at this complete lack of customer service, and yes, before any snarky comments, I am aware of where I am. To top it all off I still had 8 months left on a prepaid year with Digi.

Yeah I have seen similar comments about this on FB too. Sounds like whatever happened has been a compete shemozzle.
Do we know what went down? Has SingMeng (and the former Digi) completely collapsed?

Looks like Opennet could be in trouble as well.

They are quite happy to air their dirty washing in public when someone owes them money. I wonder what they would say if King Technologies said the government owed them money and were "avoiding settling debts"?

Use Smart @Home
1. Walk in to shop.
2. Buy device.
3. Plug into wall at home.
4. Enjoy internet.
Could argue the same for Metfone home wifi, but I never enjoyed my business dealings with our neighbours, so biased
If you need superfast internet, Ezecom would be the way to go - but I'm talking corporate throughput, not a casual net worker, etc.

Yeah I thought that too. Searched to see if they had posted similar about SingMeng but couldn't find anything. Similarly nothing reported in the KT. Which makes me wonder who's done what and avoided any fallout/publicity.

Update -
Apparently Sing Meng sold to Ezecom. All accounts were supposed to automatically be transferred with no interruption of serrvice, but big surprise that didn't happen smoothly. Finally got through to s/o at Ezecom and they said the problem should be resolved, but I won't know until I get home from work. Fingers crossed

OpenNet / King Technologies seem to be a Vietnamese owned entity. I was wondering if their parent company was listed on a serious exchange somewhere, this kind of clumsy and wilful defamation can be very damaging.timmydownawell wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 12:01 pmYeah I thought that too. Re: Former Digi customers - advice?
I saw an expat posting on Facebook about paying for a year up front of Digi service and then getting unusably slow internet service after a few months. Very predictable.
Re: Former Digi customers - advice?
Yeah they did the same to me. Got 3 free months when I brought it up, but no increase to the speed I was paying for .
Ezecom has fixed the problem without much hassle at all, so have to give them CS points way over Digi. Hopefully that level of service continues.
