You can set tapatalk so if it detects a slow network it won't download avatars, images etc.. So you can use it on the shittiest of all connections.

Good to know. I've only been using it a couple of days but it has a very simple interface and is very user friendly.

i'm honestly a little curious about the BYO version, where you can style it/etc to match your site then have people dl it as a separate CEO App.

Not that it's needed (and i'm not going to pay for it), but it would be nice to check out for clients/etc.
