It could be because I'm running a very old version I suppose but I don't want to upgrade if it can be avoided. 4.5.1 I'm running is completely ad-free....
Ah, glad you mentioned that. Been busy getting the site back and it slipped my mind.

I was also using a old version, which I loved.

Since the upgrade, I couldn't get the old tapatalk version back on.

I was forced to upgrade, LoL.

That said, the latest version isn't bad at all, and even adds some new features, like a LIKE button that only other tapatalk users can see.

Try it. The current version is much, much, much better than the versions in previous months. They were getting so bad that I stopped even checking the new releases almost a year ago.

Since then they have obviously gotten their act together.

Try it, and if you're not a fan, you can always switch back to the old one, but it seems that the old one ain't working on CEO now.

They have now gone back to making it simple again, and I think the new interface is much better now.

I'm a fan.

Report back if you try it.

Mmm, ok, upgraded and it's working again but what a dog's dinner of an interface. Not happy!

Edit: especially as it changed an unhappy smiley into a happy one. Pile of crap.

Yeah, I wish they'd let all versions still connect. Oh well. I like the layout just fine, but nothing will ever beat the simplicity of the old one. Had a few drawbacks, but was simple as shit.

Some of the 'new' versions they were releasing about a year ago were just terrible!! You had to do so much scrolling that it was easier to just go the the site, LoL. They fixed that crap at least.

It's not that bad once you get used to it.

I do find it is sluggish to load posts sometimes but overall I like it.

Indeed. I haven't seen that exact same error, but it's been acting up for me today too.

Even just now, seemed to not want to load this topic, yet my internet connection seems to be fine. Strange.

Seems to be ok for now. Only time will tell how long it lasts this time.
