Most people customize them. Easy to do.

You should mess with one fresh outta the box.

And it takes more than just "playing" with someone's customized phone to get used to it.

Most android users would be lost if they just picked up an iPhone.

P.S. I'm a Samsung Galaxy FanBoy. I'd be a Google Nexus FanBoy, but they don't offer external storage.
I think that is so true. I moved from Nokia as an easy to use business/private phone to Apple as my first smartphone. I've always liked Samsung for screen clarity, my TV's are always Samsung, and I recognise from everything I read they are good phones. But I tried to assist setting up my mother's new Samsung a couple of months ago and I was lost. I haven't got the patience to reinvent the wheel when everything I've got synchs okay. My biggest gripe would be the external storage issue, I'd like to have a bigger portable music collection on my iPhone.

1. It's cheaper
2. (Much) wider choice of handsets
3. (Mostly) user replaceable batteries
4. (Mostly) expandable storage by micro-SD card
5. More than 1 app store
6. More control over your expensive hardware
7. Wider choice of OS and skin
8. Proves you're not an iSheep/fanboi
9. Cheaper accessories
I guess none of that appeals to me. I want a device that just works, all the time and is fairly simple. I hear Android devices attract quite a few viruses/malware.
I'm guessing you heard that from people who don't use Android.

Google does the same on Android these days.

I would assume converting from Apple to Android would be similar to converting from PC to Mac. I'm an IT guy so I have used a PC for a long time but after my Dad bought me my first Mac in 2007, I've never looked back. Apple products are generally more expensive but the experience is just beautiful. Thinking about moving to an Android device is sort of overwhelming to think about. Not sure why - maybe it's because thinking about app compatibility, new apps and a whole new UI...

^ That sounds like a good comparison.

We should all arrange a "phone swap" some random week and see who cries first, LoL.

That said, I just priced the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 here in Saudi at slightly below $750, so I'll probably be getting that pretty soon.

Unless JBTrain has any reasons I need to reconsider. Any bad rumors/reviews out there?

I can't afford to get something that's less than perfect.

Not to be a smartass, but I saw the Apple stuff for sale but didn't price check. I will when I'm back in there.

From all I've read it's a terrific device.

Good news, thanks.

Does it have that "raw imaging" or whatever it's called that you spoke of recently for the camera?
