You need to set up a template before you can set up the recurring payment.
Ta that works
now subscribe to the Smart "Xtralong" plan to make your balances last for 90 days instead of endlessly expiring like mine were for the last 3.5 years! It costs $2 as a one-off subscription.

Press *203# then the dial button.

The ABA App works until the next update. When it updates, the app then checks the SIM for the phone number.

Unfortunately, there is no way to predict when the next ABA App will update. One way to delay the inevitable might be turn off updates. That is, until the ABA server no longer works with the old app.

Missus did a check up last night. Her Smart SIM expired a month ago. Called to ABA and Smart as well as several tech savvy friends to confirm.

Money moved out of ABA account. Friend will be going to Smart to see if she can get her number back. If she can get her number back, money will be moved back, if it’s not been spent yet.

I linked my google phone number. The number is valid forever sans top ups. Plus SMSs are automatically emailed to my gmail.
