UFC Back on Fox

Post by Rain Dog »

For those that follow the sport you may have notice Fox Sports had dropped all UFC broadcasts over the past 6 weeks or so.Looks like negotiations have succeeded as it was back on yesterday.

Did not show the prelims as they used to either.

Crappy card yesterday but good to see the sport back on TV

Cheers,

RD

As it's literally the only sport I watch at all, this is good news.

May 23 is a great card. Ironically their best fighter Jon Jones) was supposed to Headline that card. After an earlier issue of having Coke detected in his system he is now in even bigger trouble. Apparently he crashed his car into another car being driven by a pregnant woman and injured here. Instead of helping her he fled the scene on foot and stupidly left his stash of weed in the car. Now he is up on Felony Hit and Run Charges. The UFC (who usualy protects its money makers) has stripped him of his title and suspended him indefinitely.

Now it will be Daniel Cormier fighting Rumble Johnson -- which will be a hell of a fight.

Good under-card too.

Cheers,

RD

Great Card this weekend. Better than anything UFC has put out in a while

1) Anthony "Rumble" Johnson Vs Daniel Cormier (For Vacant LHW title)
2) Chris Weidmannn Vs Vito Belfort for MW Championship
3) Don "Cowboy" Cerrone Vs John Makdessi"
4) Travis Brown Vs Andrei Arlovsky (HW Contenders)
5) Joseph Benavidez Vs John Moraga (FW matchup)

Great undercard to including the return of John Dodson

Maybe we should organise a UFC poster brawl

The Rain Dog - Jacked Camry one was pretty good, but that time the judges correctly penalised Mayweather Camry.

We could ask scooby to ref, he's impartial.
