Looks like the UFC have caved in to his demands.

''In the greatest tradition of fight sports, Conor McGregor, the former UFC welterweight champion, has retired, un-retired, been struck from a fight card and been added all over again.

Just days after UFC president Dana White confirmed that McGregor would not be fighting at UFC 200, McGregor tweeted that he would indeed be headlining the event and complete his re-match with Nate Diaz.''

When 1 man becomes bigger than the organization that runs the fights its time to change the way things are done!

Great article and I agree with the majority of what is said.

Conor McGregor’s Ego Has Become His Worst Enemy

Two months ago, all Conor McGregor did was win. He won in the octagon with ease and as a byproduct of his in-ring excellence and his boisterous persona, he became an international superstar and the face of MMA almost overnight.

Now, just over a month after McGregor’s first and only professional loss, we’re on the precipice of the entire Conor McGregor paradigm changing drastically before our very eyes.

It all began with McGregor’s somewhat misguided but respectable attempt to fight Rafael Dos Anjos at the welterweight weight class and become the first UFC fighter in history to be a dual-weight champion.

Like always the reporter is only talking about his UFC career. They always forget about what happened to fighters pre UFC.
