Big one today. England v India. Should be a boisterous crowd and a must-win game for England after misfiring in a few games.

Agree on Archer, proper express pace and a joy to watch his effortless bowling. Albeit he looks a doubt for today's game.

After rain delays, yesterday's game recommenced today with New Zealand r scrambling to a disappointing 8/239 . In reply India are......wait for it.... .... 5/79.

Still a chance. They are about level with what NZ had at the same point, with fewer wickets in hand. If these two stay in for the next 8-9 overs they will have a slim chance

New Zealand win by 18 runs.

India V Australia was the final I was hoping to see. Ah well, we'll have to take the cane out of the cupboard and give the Kiwis a good thrashing after we've dispatched of the poms.
