They're coming home again with sweet FA.
To be honest, there was more chance of Shamima Begum coming home.

Ok this is totally embarrassing. The next world cup is held in the US Canada and Mexico. There will be 48 teams qualifying. 11 stadiums in the US, 3 in Mexico and 2 in Canada. The fucking stadium in Toronto is the smallest at only 40,000 capacity FIFA minimum, with no roof, compared to some in the US at 100,000. The field is purposely built for (soccer, futbol, football Toronto FC Major League Soccer (MLS)),

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toronto_FC

but c'mon. We have a huge retractable roof stadium, taxpayer paid for, for of all the boring shit, baseball (Toronto Blue Jays) barf gag and Futbol Canadiansa, capacity like 80,000. Yes we have our own Futbol Canadiansa league. Lol

WTF? Why are we not using the fucking huge stadium with retractable roof?

Had the pleasure of taking my grandson to the bar and to top it off it was his birthday yesterday. Also had bought him 4 different jerseys from Medellin COLOMBIA Mexico national jersey and Argentina team can't remember which but nice little touch. Bonding with him. He's 9

Aaargh, so close...Bravo Argentina !

It was the most paradoxal cup on many levels.
These events are getting weirder as weird time goes.

Yes, a really great World Cup. Can say the best in living memory, can't say if it was better than 1930 or 1950.

What made it great was the football, the swings within games, the shock results that were deserved, like Saudi beating Argentina, Morocco getting to the semis. All that's got nothing to do with Qatar or even the bloody stadiums. It's what happens on the pitch when the game is on.
