I just don’t get why people slag off their adopted country. Not just him but some long termers too. Such friendly demeanor. No wonder newbies, long term lurkers, and locals are afraid to share. As to slagging off to my adopted country. I’m half attached to it for life. Will always be a tourist here...

Why are you here?
I got sent for a 6 month work contract and ended up staying 11 years.
Recently left and have come back to NZ and now wish I had come back sooner. I’m enjoying life here a lot more than I used to in Cambodia in the later years.
