Re: The Coronavirus Is Never Going Away
Another reason hospitals were overwhelmed in the US is that the population is very sickly. The statistics almost don't sound real. Sadly they are. Must be fast food effects. Every rare time i had to eat at a fast food joint i felt afterwards like i had a hammer to digest. And Americans seem to be e...

Apparently some members here believe that government gives value to currency (if it can bail out at a whim by printing a few trillion) rather than productive forces of society. Oh well, i got no time to teach currency devaluation, you will feel it by yourself, especially individuals on a fixed income.

Re: Thai lottery for the draft was held last month, even for lady boys
I’ve always wondered but lazy to google where do ladyboys go as prisoners: men’s or women’s prison. Both options would open a lot of abuse. Maybe they have a ladyboys’ prison there?

Re: Following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak - News and Discussion
The enthusiasm for lockdowns quickly diminishes, it seems, after US and Europe both published economic stats end of July that showed a multi-decade setback of economies. The side effect of preventing life is very costly. I don't know. I just read a poll in the US that said most people want more res...

Re: Following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak - News and Discussion
I will be very surprised if no huge social and political changes have happened by this time next year in many countries. And those who are at the helm are bringing ousting onto themselves at full speed. All for a flu. Comedians will have enough work material decades after this. It almost looks like ...

Re: What's happening in your life?
Hopes are high that October will be the month of return of a more balanced look of governments on the economy which was sacrificed. Air Asia X, the international division of Air Asia, has closed reservations for all flights in its global distribution systems until October 31, 2021. https://thethaig...

Re: What's happening in your life?
I’ve been learning a new language for 3 months and doing more physical exercises to get fit for the time when travelling is re-opened. Come to think of it, it’s not been so bad not being able to travel but if it lasts until 2021 it will start to become a real nuisance. Hopes are high that October wi...

Re: If it is difficult to come to Cambodia, I wont
I also thought I would start a conversation about how most people will stay away while it is difficult. I think the majority of people will react like me. Yeah, but it’s difficult to start conversations when certain forum members only wait to do personal attacks and criticise the topic starter inst...

Re: If it is difficult to come to Cambodia, I wont
Personally, i’d like to see a more streamlined process which will hopefully come by October. 1) Tourist visa on Arrival returned, valid for 2-3 months as there is a risk that the first two weeks the tourist will be quarantined which is a lost holiday time. 2) Insurance requirement is no problem (i p...
