Re: French Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia Claim You Need To Make $2,500 a Month To Marry a Cambodian ONLY IF You're Ove

Religion is Man made... Religion is a set of essential rules governing human behaviour, primarily by listing forbidden behaviours. A true set of forbidden behaviours is fundamentally part of the human blueprint. Irrespective of how such design came about, the true set is part of the design of the h...

Re: Bringing external hard drives to Cambodia?

And....the powers that be will not control the tech? Do I have that right. It is out of control already. I recently posted an analysis of The French-British action plan of 13 June 2017 . With a large chunk of internet infrastructure controlled by USA-based companies and persons, this plan can never...

Re: Bringing external hard drives to Cambodia?

the legal reasoning behind search of your devices is that having not yet formally entered the country you are outside of jurisdiction and you must submit to requests as a condition of entry. Yeah, they do not particularly respect you, do they? As I suggested previously, all respect is ultimately ba...

Welcome to the miracles of man-made law! Why don't they invent more of that? Aren't we all unsatisfied subjects who desperat...

Re: Bringing external hard drives to Cambodia?

an encrypted disk would arouse all sort of suspicions. By the way, if you encrypt the drive at the device level (sda, sdb, ...), the metadata is no longer readable either. The blocks that describe the folders, files, and their permissions and other attributes are no longer where the system expects ...

Re: Bringing external hard drives to Cambodia?

provisions in the fourth amendment Surely that only applies to the US? In certain ways, yes. In other ways, not really. The constitutional amendments that you find in the American Bill of Rights were not entered into the document for no good reason at all. They collectively try to prevent the situa...

Re: Bringing external hard drives to Cambodia?

I would also worry that in some countries where HDD's are checked, an encrypted disk would arouse all sort of suspicions. You cannot see that the disk is encrypted. That was exactly the point I was making. It just looks like an old disk that possibly has been used for something in the past, but now...

Re: Bringing external hard drives to Cambodia?

Over 80 entries to Cambodia over 16 years. Never once been stopped and searched. Eventually, they may catch up with the Joneses. That is why you'd better learn basic encryption. The more people regularly use it, the less they can do anything about it. So, it is in my own interest to prod everybody ...

Re: Here's why donating £2 a month cannot possibly end poverty

God has been virtually wiped out of the American public classroom ... Yeah, let's shut down the tax havens, and increase the taxes across the board, so that you cannot afford any alternative any longer, and give ever more of your money to these fantastic "public services" where the kids f...
