Re: Teachers Wanted: No Negroes, Indians, Mongoloids Need Apply
Having English as a second language cannot have any connection with race because so many people in this world are not white and have English as a first language (African Americans etc) and so many white people do not have English as a first language (most Europeans for example).

Re: tuktuk app services, which is better?
I have used Exnet, Uber, 711Go and Itsumo. I have found them all good most of the time.
I got a message from Uber today. They are now officially launching and promo code UberPPLaunch gets you $4 off your next 10 trips, expiring 15 October. Happy ridesharing!

Re: Riding without a helmet
You see it all the time in the Netherlands. So-called light motos do not require a helmet and can be used in bike lanes. They are sold with limiters set at 25kph but once the limiter has been removed the 50cc motos can do 65kph. I must admit I was shocked to see it. I felt like I was back in PP, exc...

Re: Sihanoukville Guesthouse Owner Dies in Motobike Accident
Any tips on the cheapest/best insurance to have when things go terribly wrong? I'm one of those idiots that have nothing, and just look left-right-left and extra time before crossing the streets for good measure. Haha, yes good old moral hazard. Having insurance (or wearing a helmet or seat belt) m...

Re: Vitamin and mineral supplements
I don't know why the topic of vitamin and mineral supplements promotes such animated emotions on the part of some who don't want to use them. As OP, I only asked where they were available. Why not live and let live? We are in SE Asia after all. There are health forums for those who really want to pa...

All right then, if you are going to have a debate, then it is not acceptable to pull one study off the shelf and ignore everything else. For a more balanced view see this,

Re: Vitamin and mineral supplements
As far as I can tell, these are limited in availability here, and expensive and low potency. I have seen stocks at Ucare, for example. Bangkok seems a bit better but still way inferior to western suppliers. Any thoughts? GNC in Bangkok. Thank you for answering my question as opposed to offering me ...
