Re: Good places to relieve yourself when out

What about the 1000riel public loo at north end of riverside? Humidity at 100% inside, no seat, and you wipe with your hand and water from a scoop. Total comfort and relaxation. See you there.

Re: Flight of the Conchords

I love FOTC. I never get tired of hearing some of their songs. Rhyme-nocerous vs Hip-hop-apotamus, Bowie in Space, Inner city pressure, Sugar lumps, Foo-do-fa-fa, Business time...... Much hilarity!

Didn't they just release (or produce, not sure) some kind of show about vampires?

Re: The House of Poo

The Place gym is the same - paper only. And worse still, the chrome doorframe is polished to such a sheen that, if you should find yourself outside the toilet door inadvertantly looking up, you will see a clear reflection of the tenant. In addition, if you are sat on the throne, the door is full pol...

Re: First CEO poster to visit.....

Hi Ryan, Is there any good mountain biking that you know of around the area? And do you know if any of the bus companies heading up use those 2 tier buses with storage space on the lower floor? I might make a trip up at End of July, but I'm guessing your offer will be long gone by then! All the best!

Re: PP to SR by boat | day trips on the river

I had a great experience going SR to PP on one of those boats. You can sit on the roof the whole way and enjoy the breeze and good scenery (use sunscreen!). Some great photography is possible if you are into it and have a decent zoom/wide angle. In recent years, the 'port' at the SR end has just bec...

Re: Huh?

I'd been for an early bicycle ride yesterday and was heading home past SOS on 51. A mullet haired, singlet wearing barang dude on a scoopy sped by, no skid lid, and when we got to the big junction of Sihanouk and 51, he'd been nabbed by the traffic cops. He was on his mobile calling for back up and ...

Re: Those Living Cheaply Under a Grand

I average about 2 beers and 2 G&Ts a week. I know plenty of folk here who drink socially, and enjoy it, but work hard and train hard too. I know several folk who regularly cycle to Kampot, or have got home from a 60km morning weekday bike ride before dagenam has even got his morning wood... And...
