Re: Holland America Cruise Ship to Dock at Sihanoukville

Cultural and religous meetings are also making the control of the virus difficult. In Iran reported a Mayor of a city has been tested positive for virus. He still attends Friday prayers!!! The custom of shaking hands and face kissing makes the rapid spread of the virus very likely. The church in Kor...

Re: Outbreak of Unidentified Coronavirus In China as New Year Approaches

North Korea is problematic to get an idea on numbers. Goverment giving the line that they can protect their people and figure remains low. North Korea has a large daily flow of Chinese in and out on its boarder with China!!!!!! Very likely they have the virus and with poor health care North Korea is...

Re: Outbreak of Unidentified Coronavirus In China as New Year Approaches

R.O number is how many people are infected by a single person. This SARS 2 COVID virus l have seen reports that differ from RO 2.7 up to RO 4.5. Do the maths. Re: Outbreak of Unidentified Coronavirus In China as New Year Approaches

Great question. Because there is no 'herd immunity' to this new virus it must burn out. If there was previous exposure we would have 'fire breaks'. But its a new virus so it has a field day unless a vaccine is developed in time to slow the spread. Burnout would see around 66% of the worlds populatio...

Re: Holland America Cruise Ship to Dock at Sihanoukville

So now we not only have to keep an eye on those on the boat and the passengers that disembarked at Sihanoukville but also their ' close contacts'. 'Close Contact' is anyone who has come in contact for a period of time!! Not exactly clear how long 'period of time' is but the longer the contact the mo...

Re: Holland America Cruise Ship to Dock at Sihanoukville

'Cabin fever' is very evident watching passengers on the Japanese boat. You Tube giving reports. Well the scramble is on to locate those who left the Sihanoukville ship and l guess they will likely go into isolation for a period. Many airlines will be reluctant to take those passengers that are still...
