How about the scrotum faced slacker fess up to his mistakes and get a respectable source of income instead? He's already dug himself a hole by being an idiot, no need to make it worse.

I think you're being too nice, let the boy get what's coming to him. Maybe it'll teach him to grow up and learn how to contribute to society.

I hate to be this guy, but I have to raise some questions...and this is just like any decent charity would do in determining who gets funded. And before any of you come after me, I've done many years of volunteer charity work in a hospital before, so I know how the vetting process for charity works....

Re: Khmerican with Diabetes Needs GoFundMe Donations to Stay Alive in Battambang, Cambodia
I don't know much about Diabetes research, but I do know that in my parents time... Fats were demonized while sugars were okay. Not even a RDA % on sugar, but on every other nutrition factor it is. Fen-phen was a diet drug that caused heart problems. Flouride water was sold to prevent cavities in ch...

Re: Khmerican with Diabetes Needs GoFundMe Donations to Stay Alive in Battambang, Cambodia
Rice is a great food for when the locals walked everywhere and heavy manual labor was the norm. Now the Khmer would prefer to ride motos and play Facebook. I was thinking this is probably the more important health factor here, not the rice. Kind of like how Americans blame sugar in everything vs. t...

I personally hate rice of any sorts, but I think this whole "rice is bad for you" thing is really overblown. It's not like billions of people don't eat rice and are perfectly healthy.

Re: Khmerican with Diabetes Needs GoFundMe Donations to Stay Alive in Battambang, Cambodia
I hate to be that asshole, but I agree with StroppyChops. My oldest sister is Type 1 but my younger is Type 2 (I'm neither), and there's world of a difference. Type 1 I can understand because of the finger poke kits, insulin pumps, needles, all that jazz, but Type 2? And with the healthy food here I...
