Re: Best place for a hammock
The only one I have used in Cambodia, since most are too small and thin, has been the camouflage style ones that some of the tuk-tuk guys sleep in at night. You can an get them at Russian Market. It isn't as airy as some of the woven ones, but fit well on the hammock steel frame and was comfortable.

The free edition of Avast is available for a variety of platforms and works well, to second what other posters have said. I use it on my PC but not on my smartphone for no particular reason. Lookout is good on smartphones because of the added features of locating your phone, theft alerts, etc. It wi...

The ones of 432 just off Monivong seem very popular, as was mentioned above by ali baba.
My Khmer friends really like the one just southeast of the BKK market on the corner of street 392 where it ends. The food seems better than most.

A lot of the middle range or high end spas will also sell fancy smelling candles in the shapes of apsara or elephants if you really want to impress.

I'm surprised more of this doesn't happen here. A handful of sneaky arsonist and saboteurs could go far in creating headaches for these companies getting Economic Land Concessions. The government isn't going to help them, and going head to head with the police or army won't end well.

Re: House keeper/cleaner
While not a fan of Cambodian Parent's Network, they are a good source for recommended house keepers. Check on there to help you find someone and maybe give you a sense of their rates. I was very successful in the past doing that. What you should pay will depend on the size of your house, how much la...
