Re: Please confirm..eVisa converted to.....

It is possible, the agent will have to take the passport to a border, get it stamped out and then brought back and a E-class visa put in. This is a procedure that is tricky and illegal and so costs quite a few dollars.

How do you figure that? As far as I can see only a handful of sites like Khmerization and Ki-Media are blocked by certain ISPs (and not others). They should be blocked anyway as they are just spreading stupidity.

Re: FOR THOSE WHO THINK THAT...

Yes, indeed I am fucked. It's bad enough to have the problem and worse yet to watch my crying wife tell me it will be better. And to be separated from the kids will break my heart. So please if you have nothing of value to add stop blithering on about Thailand. In fact just top blithering on period...

Re: Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah Dies at Age 90 from Pneumon

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your king. I was very saddened when I heard the news. He was such a kind, gentle soul and would always help anyone in need. I will always remember his generous nature and remarkable sense of humor. Please let me know if I can be of any help to you du...

Re: Global Wealth Inequality

Can't pin down the lower qualifying threshold for the elite top 1 % but it appears to be around 100k total wealth. In Cambodia, having 100k in assets would put you somewhere towards the top bracket, but in the west it would put you just above the bottom line, and certainly wouldn't mean you were in...

Re: Canadian Drug Dealer Launders $100M through Cambodian Ba

While I have no doubt that such a scam is feasible, the article fails to mention anything solid about it actually being laundered through Cambodian banks. “It was the last time I saw him. He wanted to have all his money back. He said he had given (Lech) between $100 and $125 million. It was then tha...

Re: Camboda Golden Vice Singer Sin Sisamuth's son passed awa

That's a shame. I used to live a few doors down from him, the misses was friends with his wife. There was talk of getting some of his father's royalties paid to him for a long time but I don't think anything ever came of it. RIP. Are you still living in Phnom Penh? If so you can go to join his fune...
