Re: Many words don't have an exact equivalent in another language

Many words don't have an exact equivalent in another language. This is true if you pick any two languages, but some languages may have more equivalent words than others. Re: Brazilian drug kingpin suicides a day after he tried to escape jail dressed as his daughter

That's one of the most shocking stories I've read and viewed. You have to hand it to him--it was a clever attempt. It's quite apparent that he really didn't enjoy prison. One has to wonder why he bothered with the bra, which he seemed in a hurry to peel off. Nothing seemed to be in it, so why bother...

Re: Olympia Mall

Given all of the horror stories recently about various architectural structures collapsing (and the fire!), I would be wary about trips to this mall. History has a tendency to repeat itself, doesn't it? Well to be fair there have been very few structural collapses here, other than that building in ...

Re: Sexy Cambodian Model Takes Pictures with Naked Foreigner

My first post is on a thread with a naked man and ^ a fake model. I was prompted to post because these photos have no ART to them. There is no connection between the two people in the photos. They are positioned (oddly) and there is no life to them. Like cinnamoncat, I think there would be some imp...

I've got a collection of photos of magazine covers from our publishing company (Canby Publications, named for my hometown in Oregon, btw).

These are a bit grainy, but November 1999.

Dancing in SHV, 1995. Ken took the photo.

A meatshop in Pamplona, Spain. I bumped the color (can ya tell!?)

My home in Oregon, and it's pretty amazing here. Lots of work.
