Re: I need help configuring a router
Don’t use a VPN that comes bundled with your router, it is almost certainly shit and as you’re discovering, it leads to unnecessary complications. Just get a regular VPN service set up on the device that needs it. Problem solved.

Re: UK Tourist Visa for Khmer Girlfriend
I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that the UK visa officers are ageist and sexist. I think they actually enjoy issuing refusals to older UK guys wanting to bring over younger Khmer women. I have noticed on the relevant facebook groups that young female UK citizens working in Cambodia are ge...

Re: Electricity bill in name of landlord?
This is a common issue when it comes to visa applications. I don’t know about Australia specifically but for our UK visa we were able to instead provide a copy of our rental contract, letters from our landlord and neighbors, and an explanation in our cover letter. Similar situation when it comes to ...

Re: YouTube stops playing videos for people with ad blockers in new trial
I pay for two YouTube subscriptions (so my son watching tv doesn’t result in my feed being spammed with Into the Spiderverse and Peppa Pig) and I think they are great value for money considering the use they get. Re: Borey Tycoon Leng Navatra Assures He did Not Cheat People
that may lead to the company losing the confidence of the public, because when the company collapses, the house construction project will collapse as well, and then everybody loses. I'm confused. If he already has the money to complete the project then why would anyone lose as a result of lack of f...

Re: AI and machine learning - in any form
I've been working on a small AI side project of my own over the past month. It started with me taking all the documentation I could find for MidJourney (AI art) prompt writing and technical specs and feeding it bit by bit to GPT4 (language model). I also gave GPT4 some examples of prompts I'd made t...

Re: AI and machine learning - in any form
videos made 100% with AI: Careful not to get caught up with buzzwordy hype. Those links do not contain moving videos in any meaningful sense. They are static images with individual, very carefully selected elements turned into gifs on very short loops overlaying the original image. That has almost ...
