Re: K-Visa help

Thank you for your replies. I am still in country and live here. I want the k-visa for travelling to Europe purposes. I will bring those docs and head to the Dept on Immigration. Thanks for your help :thumb: From what I get a K-visa is not required for your travels to Europe (because the kid can le...

Re: Chili peppers from seed

I have a little veranda garden going and sprouted some chili pepper seed from some chilis bought at the market. They have been in flower for more than a month and still no fruit. Are chilis here GMO/sterile ... or are there just not enough bugs to pollinate due to all the mosquito straying? Thought...

This is also possible. I’m sure @Kammekor is being sarcastic.

Re: Problem, computer not connecting to internet

Interesting, if somewhat over my head. So, my understanding: disconnect my computer from the Ezecon connection; try using my phone as a hotspot and see if the problem goes away or not. And yes, it is Windows. Can't do anything now as my tech advisor, teenage daughter, isn't here. Maybe I should cha...

Re: Phnom Penh Air Quality

I'm not in denial, it has been very dusty recently I just haven't really noticed any more smog than usual. There's always a cloud of pollution over the city, you can see it clearly on some approaches. However even if the air was totally clean it still wouldn't feel as fresh as the breeze on a mount...

Re: Phnom Penh Air Quality

Environmental minister says Cambodia’s smog is solely the result of pollution from rich countries and climate change (aka global warming). As well as denying the forests are disappearing, just that Khmer trees are naturally more slender (and beautiful) than those of other countries. It’s all about ...

Re: Israel and Palestinian Conflict

For those not dug in their own trench, still open for arguments from others, there's an episode from Joe Rogan's podcast worth listening too: https://www.jrepodcast.com/guest/coleman-hughes/ I'm no Rogan fan, far from, but this episode showed an interesting view on the Israel - Hamas situation to me.

Phnom Penh Enveloped in Smog Amid Wave of Regional Air Pollution https://kiripost.com/stories/phnom-penh-enveloped-in-smog-amid-wave-of-regional-air-pollution The AQ isn't very good at the moment, judging by my sinuses. The lack of rain washing the crap away doesn't help. Living in the mountains in...
