Re: Building in Kep.

$60/month is interesting. I've always wondered. I want a plunge pool but not sure if it's worth it. My pool is 10M X 4M with an average depth of 1.5M. I keep the filters running for 8hours a day. My neighbours across only run their filters for an hour a day but have to spend loads more on chemicals.

Re: Building in Kep.

@whiteribbon Would love to hear how life has gone in the new house? Does building start to show any age yet? Any problems? And would be interesting to see how the garden looks now days. Anything you would have done/planned differently? Also how expensive is the pool upkeep (electricity etc.)? The p...

Re: Building a House

Is anyone willing to share insight into their experiences when building a house here in Cambodia? Of course, the more recent the better, with regards to labour and materials. All insight is welcomed (even the uber cheeky). I build here. You can see what happened, the good and the bad : https://camb...

Re: Building in Kep.

Thank you all for watching my building effort in Kep but I still now get around 3 private messages a week about it on Facebook. I don’t mind but how do you figure out what my Facebook name is? I’d like to know 🧐

Re: Chinese House trashed by new owners

Looks lovely and wish them all the best. It didn’t work before so hope this new approach will get more customers. If they can keep it up until the new towers are finished across the street Im sure they’ll be packed every night!

Re: Private Dancer

It is an interesting story. Somebody could make it into a film, and it would be popular. Could it be made into a serialized video? The problem with that it is very Bangkok specific, in order to shoot a commercial film/video in Thailand you need to obtain a permit from the film commission which invo...

Re: How do I get my Cambodian girlfriend to WANT to be thin?

If you can't loose weight in Cambodia you can't loose it anywhere. Went from 87kg to 70kg in half a year when I came here 5 years ago. High temps so sweating all day, rice every day and no feel to eat candy 24/7 with these temperatures.

Re: Living on Rabbit Island?

I live not far from rabbit island so I do know the electric stays on a bit longer now than 9. Sometimes I see it still on there past 10. So think they turn it off somewhere between 10 and 11 now. But there are no shops there no. That island really is tiny. You'll have to come to Kep to shop and even...
