Re: Kuala lumpar for 30 days
Went once, didn't find any reason to ever go again, Just another city that happens to be in asia. Penang would be a much better choice... Agreed. I personally enjoyed Penang a lot more. Amazing food and cool, old architecture. I really enjoyed getting my morning run in, down by the water. https://i...

Re: Accomodation in Phnom Penh
Join the FB group, Phnom Penh Housing. There's lots of listings for apartments and people looking for roommates. If you're looking for your own spot don't bother with rental agencies, deal with the landlord personally. Good luck.

Re: Recommended MOVIES
The Irishman was good. It would've been better if they had cast a younger actor to play during the flashback scenes. That was kind of weird. Excellent acting though, of course.

Re: Starting a youtube channel before my move to cambodia
I just watched your video. Your head and heart are in the right place. Remember your motivations and goals once you've got here, as there's no way you or anyone else watching Youtube vids on moving here will be really prepared for how crazy, awesome, strange, beautiful, chaotic and frustrating this ...

Re: Grab App
I use Grab for the aforementioned reason of ease of linking my card so no money has to exchange hands and there's no hassle with having exact change. Plus, you can use Grab in Thailand, as well, if you're traveling around.

Re: City of Koh Ker was occupied centuries longer than previously thought.
I was just there a couple weeks ago. Only 3 other people there. It and the smaller temples in the area around it are pretty amazing. Prasat Pram, in particular.

Re: Moving to Phnom Penh in January 2020
I would second what Lonestar wrote. Don't think that your going to live well on $1000 a month. And don't think that everything you see as a tourist is how things are day to day in "real life" SE ASIA. I"d also tell you to think about the parts of your current job/career that you enjo...

Guesthouse in Sa Kaeo/Aranyaprathet
By any chance has anyone stayed in the Aranyaprathet area before and can recommend a guesthouse or hotel? I'm going there to check out the Khmer temple ruins in the area. Thanks.

Re: Badly Burnt Brit with Memory Problems Dropped Off at Calmette Hospital & Needs Your Help
I'm pretty sure I saw this guy last week, sleeping on a bench while I was going for a morning run on the riverside. He was looking rough, but didn't have burns on his face when I saw him.
