Re: Buying a used car here in 2019? Part 3, another option?
Great posts A10. Small engines, low mileage Japanese imports are bound to gain huge market share here, at long last, for all the reasons you've outlined. I have a couple cars here including a 1999 (I think) lx470 with about 300k miles and a lpg setup, bought 2 years ago for about 19k. Last year the ...

Re: Two Ukrainians Arrested in Cambodia for Trafficking Passports
I wonder what the buyers can achieve with a stolen passport. In this day and age I would imagine security measures like embedded chips and pics make stolen western passports hard to modify or use.

I do not believe that rents in PP are higher or as high as tents in Sydney or Auckland. Example. 10 years ago I owned a restaurant in Ponsonby, Auckland. My rent was $1000 a week. Oh you were most certainly being ripped off, paying $1000 a week for something you already "owned!" Looks lik...

Re: Phnom Penh Railway Station to be Transformed into ‘Royal Train Square’
If they upgraded it like Victoria/Paddington/St Pancreas in London then I think it would be a great idea, but the big difference is that they have tens of trains a minute running through them, with the footfall to match. That makes renovating Victorian-era buildings makes financial sense. Hanging o...

Re: American ABOU RAMAN Sent to Court After Weapons Bust
Does anyone know if they keep any kind of an effective gun register in Cambodia? Of course they do! Every time there is a crime committed with arms, possibly a jealous shooting of a young lady, or it could be simply, someone that did not like the taste in music at the venue. The authorities will us...

Re: URGENT - Low Rent - Auberge du Soleil, Swiss Restaurant and Hotel in booming Kampot
So let me get this straight, you expect an offer of around 111000 for a 5 year lease on a building with a restaurant that sells raclette, and 3 guest rooms? Or, 190500 over 10 years for a building with a restaurant that sells raclette with 3 guest rooms......... I believe it'd be 110000 plus the 10...
