Cambodians can play manipulative games. Or should I say there are a lot of scams in Cambodia. A lot of foreigners fall for them. Why did she do it. Because it works. It is very likely you werent the first. She can put on a big act and get some money. I would encourage people to stand up to people b...

Re: Cambodia-Thailand Visa Run Via Pailin?

I plan to do a border run to VN in a couple of months, I usually go Thailand but it seems they're getting stricter by the day, given I have no VN stamps/visas in my passport I shouldn't have any trouble with it? My main concern is getting a bus back once I come back over. Whenever I went to the Koh ...

Re: Money Transfer Question

Hi, I'm from the UK and have a UK bank account (HSBC) - here in Cambodia I no longer have a account as ABA banned me for life for using "bitcoin" as a reference to send money to a friend I kid you not...no warnings whatsoever. (he was also banned for life). But anyway I am looking for the...

Re: Money Transfer Question

To be fair to ABA, the cryptocurrency thing is nothing to do with perceiving it as a threat (laughable) For now. and everything to do with the National Bank of Cambodia prakas issued to all financial institutions that any facilitation of cryptocurrency transactions would result in punishment that I...

Re: Money Transfer Question

ABA banned me for life for using "bitcoin" as a reference to send money to a friend I kid you not...no warnings whatsoever. (he was also banned for life). It is national bank directive. It's written in the terms of agreement. Up until recently there were popups with warnings on the ABA we...

Re: Best pool/snooker tables in PP.

I would recommend Q Club Snooker - 67, Street 113 on the left just as you turn off of Sihanouk Blvd. Me and my friend play snooker there a lot, and they have 4 good pool tables downstairs as well.
