Worming Tablets

I have been told by someone, who is normally very sensible, that I should take worming tablets every 6 months or so as a preventative measure.

Any merit to this idea?

As always, many thanks in advance...

Re: PassApp scam

I've set up Grab with a virtual ABA debit card. So you put the destination and Grab calculates the fare and it's fixed. I've only used it once that way and had no issue. Has anyone had issues with the driver not accepting the card payment and nevertheless wanting cash? I do exactly the same thing; ...

Re: New lease agreement

That seems high as an initial payment. What is the plan for year two, another year up front or on a month to month basis? If it's on a month to month basis this would leave the landlord without any security deposit which most would not permit and it sounds unlikely your landlord would be happy with ...

Re: Mauritius Expat EMILIO JEAN MARIE JOANITO Dies from Dengue Fever in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

I understand there is 'wake' (for want of a better term) for Emilio this Friday at Cadillac Bar on Riverside at 12:30. I was in Cadillac the other day and one of his friends was asking the manager if the place was available and it is. If any of his friends know, for sure, this is still the arrangeme...

Re: 72 People Get Food Poisoning at Funeral Ceremony

Or simply the lack of hygiene. I never touch the food at my gf's family gatherings. They have no understanding of cleanliness and general kitchen practices I always get a little sick from the food when I stay in the province. Missus, too. Dirty dishes are cleaned by letting the dogs lick off all th...

Re: 1 Bedroom - Flat - Terrace

HOW is that a 1 bedroom apartment? It's a studio without any worthwhile furniture. Where's the sofa? TV? Here's an idea... how about some kitchen cupboards and under counter storage? Where are you supposed to keep things? The kitchen will permanently look like a right mess. Even more than it does in...

Re: How do you slice up your Pineapple?

I am getting a bit better at it. It took a few tries. http://i63.tinypic.com/10netdk.jpg Nice Job! I gave up with my old western way (just keep slicing lengthways until all the hard bits were gone) and adopted the Khmer way and it is definitely better. There is definitely a pattern to the hard bits...
