Re: Tourist Traps

How are we on page 5 and Topaz didn't get a mention yet? Service is continually dismal, food bang average - except for the deserts which are superb, and all for a large multiple of dollars versus better service & food elsewhere. If Topaz was priced at La Croisette/Metro levels, I could accept it...

Re: KhemEnglish among local kids.

Nothing wrong with it in my book, indeed I use Khmer words that are easier or more polite than their English counterparts - and some I just love the sound of - ch'gai (dog) being one example of the latter; others like 'neeung nu' which is faster than 'the young woman over there'. Swings & rounda...

Re: Layout of the CEO forum.

Those bastards will be hearing from our lawyers! Jk, we both use the same forum software, and theme by the looks of it. Don't fall for his charm. He's trying to get instant access to the darknet areas by buttering you up. Are you saying that you got access to the darknet area without the use of but...

Re: Schengen visa, (and K-visa query, and some other stuff)

I always used to buy the flight ticket for my wife when applying for Schengen, fully refundable type was the way to go. @Freightdog as above, the easiest option for sorting Schengen is the German embassy, the French one is just a diabolic mess & busy all the time from my past experience, someti...

Re: Residency for stock traders ?

No idea, it has been on the cards for a long time, but one of those sorts of things that takes a decade to implement in Cambodia. I haven't lost any sleep on it yet!
