Re: Prices of land in Sihanoukville / Cambodia and building house

I wouldn't worry too much about the fact you can't own land in your own name. In London 70% of the properties are on 120y leases also. Never had problems with it there. Here you can get a maximum of 1 time 49y lease which will automatically be renewed for another 49 years. But I'm not planning to l...

Re: Prices of land in Sihanoukville / Cambodia and building house

Kep now is almost all hardtitle since this year, got it for free this year after I originally bought on soft title cause the hard titles for Kep weren't ready yet. Sihanoukville is also almost all hardtitle by now. Have no idea about the islands and smaller towns, might be a different situation the...

Re: Prices of land in Sihanoukville / Cambodia and building house

The land I saw, where all hard title. How is living on Koh Rong compared to SHV? Main problems being water and power I think, at that remote part of the island. Water? Probably need to drill a well. Or will there be water all year round if you dig a 30 m well (assuming there's 30 m of soil on top o...

Why? You can't have a legal hard title in your name.

23/11/2017 09:12 SYDNEY, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- An AirAsia flight that was forced to return to Perth airport was plummeting at a rate of 11 meters per second, an interim report has found recently. Re: Prices of land in Sihanoukville / Cambodia and building house

I have been in Cambodia last year. Been in Thailand many times, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Macao. Have done import from China and Thailand and have been around a little. I have a very nice Khmer online girlfriend (never know what comes from that) and have read almost anything on Cambodia on the interne...

Re: British & Canadian Tourists NATALIE JADE SEYMOUR & ABBEY GAIL AMISOLA Die From Drug Overdose in Kampot, Cambodia

I was being sarcastic, I have rarely ever taken Imodium, but one or two tablets usually suffices. Taking 500 of any tablet is fucking nuts, that's like half a kilo of fucking chalk besides any of the active ingredients. Anyway, that's the kind of thing someone would possibly do if there was no othe...

Re: Blockchain and Bitcoin

It's quite informative, but also a one-sided story. Currently a lot of people believe the block-chain will change the world because no third party is needed for the transaction, but they forget to tell the other side: keeping track of the block-chain is a very (power)intensive task. Currently the pe...
